Payment and coins

One coin, Monero, by design. The privacy is not an add-on you switch to, it is the only setting. Amounts, sender and receiver are hidden at the protocol layer, which is the property that matters when the reason you are here is that a legible payment is the thing you want to avoid.

What you give up is the Bitcoin door for the vendor who only takes Bitcoin, and that is a deliberate cost the market has decided to pay. What you get back is a chart with no public-ledger option to trip over. For a buyer who was going to reach for Monero anyway, the missing coins were never going to be used.

Deposit addresses are issued fresh per order and never reused. Fund the escrow, let the required confirmations land, which for Monero works out to around twenty minutes, and keep the on-market balance sized to the order in front of you rather than the year behind it.
